A convoy of Changan cars sets off to conquer extreme temperatures
In conjunction with Almajdouie Motors – Changan “#فاغرسها” initiative

 

Almajdouie Motors Company, the authorized distributor of Changan automobiles in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, launched “#فاغرسها”   initiative to plant trees and seedlings across Saudi cities, in collaboration with local councils that helped identify the appropriate locations for applying the initiative.

Social media activist and influencer  Mohannad Al-Ghamdi, who is also the superintendent of the tree-planting initiative, said, “This initiative to tree-plant Saudi cities coincides with the government’s increased interest in tree-planting and providing larger green areas across the Kingdom. This will definitely have a positive effect on people benefiting from it. Indeed, volunteers and keen activists on social media networks finished implementing the first two stages in Jeddah city (Al Basateen village) and capital Riyadh. More stages are set to follow soon concurrently across the remaining cities of the Kingdom, where more seedlings will be planted as the weather improves.”

Almajdouei Motors – Changan initiative is keenly followed-up by a team of volunteers and social media activists as it pushes forward to achieve its goals. Moreover, it was held in conjunction with an excursion for Changan cars, which set off to challenge the extreme heatwave that engulfed the Kingdom’s cities.

The goal of this initiative is to increase green areas across the Kingdom, especially after noting the similarities among the programs of various social services. Besides, our religion urges us to plant and develop the earth, according to what the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, “If the Final Hour comes while you have a palm-cutting in your hands and it is possible to plant it before the Hour comes, you should plant it.”
